Virgin Voyages Shows: Every Free Show on Every Ship

Entertainment is one of the best parts of a Virgin Voyages cruise, and almost all of it is included in your fare. Each ship has its own lineup of original headline shows, plus comedy, game shows, and late-night parties that change from sailing to sailing. Here's every free show by ship, how seating works, and how to plan your nights so you don't miss the ones you want.

A performer in a sequined jacket is lifted high by a group of dancers on stage, with bright, swirling video screens behind them, during a Virgin Voyages headline show.

Virgin’s headline shows mix dance, acrobatics, and big visuals, and they’re included in your fare.

Virgin Voyages Shows at a Glance

  • Cost: Headline shows are included in your fare on every cabin and fare type.

  • Where: Most headline shows play in The Red Room, Virgin's flexible theater. Some events move to The Manor, the pool deck, or other lounges.

  • When: Most headline shows run twice a night, an early and a late performance. Times are in the Virgin Voyages app.

  • Seating: First come, first served. Arrive 20 to 30 minutes early for a good seat.

  • What costs extra: The dinner shows on Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady. More on those below.

Shows on Scarlet Lady

  • Booked: A Lola's Library Story. A storybook-style show with dance and acrobatics. It's a prequel to Lola's Library, so if you've seen that show on an earlier sailing, you'll catch the connections.

  • It's a Rock Show-ke. A concert-style show with live singers covering classic rock and '90s hits. The crowd sings along, and the set list changes, so it feels different each time.

  • Persephone. The Greek myth told through acrobatics, live vocals, and contemporary dance. It also plays on Resilient Lady.

Shows on Valiant Lady

  • Around the World With The Diva. A globe-trotting musical with big costume changes, dancers, and The Diva at the center of it all. Only on Valiant Lady.

  • Miss Behave Show. A game show where the audience splits into Team AHOY and Team SAILOR and competes for points. It's loud, silly, and one of the most popular nights onboard. Also on Resilient Lady.

  • The Magnets' Music Residency. An a cappella group with live beatboxing. They put on two different shows each sailing, so you can see both.

  • UNTITLED DANCESHOWPARTYTHING. A dance show that turns into a party, with The Red Room set up for standing. It usually runs later in the evening.

Valiant Lady also added new game shows and trivia formats in her 2026 refresh, including Sink Oar Swim, a fast word-play game show in The Red Room and The Manor, and Sun Society, a retro pool party on select sea days. For where everything is on the ship, see my Valiant Lady deck plans.

Shows on Resilient Lady

  • Mind Mangler: Member of the Tragic Circle. A comedy spoof of mind-reading and magic acts that started at the Edinburgh Fringe. Only on Resilient Lady.

  • Persephone. The same acrobatic retelling of the Greek myth that plays on Scarlet Lady.

  • Miss Behave Show. The audience game show, also on Valiant Lady.

Shows on Brilliant Lady

  • Duel Reality. Romeo and Juliet retold through acrobatics.

  • Out of Time. A time-travel comedy adventure with music.

  • Red Hot. A musical revue celebrating Virgin's music history, with archival footage mixed in.

Festival Stage: On Every Ship

Every ship also has Festival Stage, a rotating lineup of comedians, magicians, musicians, circus artists, and specialty acts. The performers change from sailing to sailing, so check the app on embarkation day to see who's onboard for yours. Festival Stage shows pop up in The Red Room, The Manor, and around the ship.

Scarlet Night and the Parties

Scarlet Night is Virgin's signature party, and it's on every sailing. It starts on the pool deck and moves indoors to The Red Room if the weather doesn't cooperate. Each ship has more theme nights on top of that. See my Virgin Voyages Party Guide for every party and what to wear.

Which Shows Cost Extra?

Almost everything is included. The exceptions are the dinner shows in The Manor:

  • Included: LOLz Supper Club on Scarlet Lady and It's a Ship Show on Valiant Lady. Dinner and the show are free, and drinks are extra.

  • Extra cost: Another Rose on Resilient Lady and Up With a Twist on Brilliant Lady, about $50 per person with dinner and drinks.

For details on every dinner show and how to book them, see my Virgin Voyages dinner shows guide.

How Seating Works

  • Arrive early. Headline shows are first come, first served. Give yourself 20 to 30 minutes, and more on the first night and on sea days.

  • If the room fills, the crew may run a standby line. You're not guaranteed a seat, so don't cut it close for a show you really want to see.

  • RockStars get priority access to shows, one of the perks of booking a suite. See Is RockStar Quarters Worth It?

How to Plan Your Nights

  • Check the app every morning. Show times, Festival Stage acts, and party schedules are posted there and can shift between sea days and port days.

  • Book dinner around the shows. If you want the early show, book an earlier dinner reservation, or plan a late dinner after it. See my Virgin Voyages Restaurant Guide.

  • On a short sailing, prioritize. On four- and five-night trips you may not have time for every show, so pick the one that's only on your ship first.

  • Grab a drink before the show. A prepaid Bar Tab gets you bonus credit. My Bar Tab Calculator shows which tab fits how you drink.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Virgin Voyages shows free?

Yes. Headline shows, Festival Stage acts, and parties are included in your fare. The dinner shows on Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady cost extra.

Do you need reservations for Virgin Voyages shows?

Headline shows are first come, first served. Arrive early, especially for the first performance of the night.

How long are the shows?

Many headline shows run around 45 minutes, so you can easily fit a show and dinner into the same night. Check the app for each show's run time.

Which Virgin Voyages ship has the best shows?

It depends on what you like. Valiant Lady leans into game shows and dance parties, Resilient Lady has the Mind Mangler comedy show, Brilliant Lady has the acrobatics of Duel Reality and the Virgin music revue Red Hot, and Scarlet Lady has Booked and It's a Rock Show-ke alongside Persephone.
