Virgin Voyages has a new party, and it's only on Valiant Lady. Sun Society is a retro, Hollywood-inspired pool party that launched on October 19, 2026, just as Valiant Lady started her winter season of Caribbean sailings from San Juan. Here's what it is, how the afternoon plays out, and what to wear.

What Is Sun Society?
Sun Society is a 90-minute poolside party with a mid-century, old Hollywood theme. Think pastel parasols, a giant pink flamingo photo spot, bubbles drifting across the deck, and vintage cameras for candid shots.
The Hostess performs "Sway" live, and the crowd joins in with palm-fan choreography. It starts slow and sunny and builds to a big finish.
How the 90 Minutes Unfold
How Sun Society unfolds on The Aquatic Club pool deck
Arrival (first 15 minutes): Soul, bossa nova, and 1960s resort music set the mood as you find your spot.
Leisure (15 to 40 minutes): Little surprises start popping up around the pool.
Play (40 to 65 minutes): A cast of characters, including The Insiders, The Scarlets, and The Socialites, pulls sailors into toasts, dances, and conversations.
Indulgence (65 to 80 minutes): Sweet treats make the rounds.
Euphoria (last 10 minutes): The music builds, bubbles fill the deck, and the cast slips back into the crowd.

What to Wear to Sun Society
There's no dress code, but this is a party worth dressing for. Virgin suggests a retro resort look:
Vintage-style swimwear
Tailored linen
Caftans
Oversized sunglasses
Headscarves or sun hats
