One of the best nights on any Virgin Voyages sailing is a dinner show. Every ship has one: a supper club night in The Manor where you get a multi-course dinner and a live show at the same time. Two of them are included in your fare, and two cost extra. Here's every Virgin Voyages dinner show by ship, what it costs, how to book, and which ones are worth it.
Dinner, drinks, and a show in The Manor. Book your seats in the app as soon as you board.
Virgin Voyages Dinner Shows by Ship
Scarlet Lady: LOLz Supper Club. Comedy with a three-course dinner. Included in your fare.
Valiant Lady: It's a Ship Show. A variety show with a four-course dinner. Included in your fare.
Resilient Lady: Another Rose. Dinner theater with cocktails. About $50 per person.
Brilliant Lady: Up With a Twist. A 1920s-style variety show with dinner and cocktails. About $50 per person.
All four take place in The Manor, which turns into a supper club for the night. Every one of them is booked in the Virgin Voyages app once you're onboard. Shows can change by ship and sailing, so check the app for what's running on yours. Looking for the free headline shows? See my Virgin Voyages shows guide.
LOLz Supper Club (Scarlet Lady)
LOLz Supper Club is a comedy night. A lineup of stand-up comedians performs while you eat a three-course dinner, and the show runs about 90 minutes.
Cost: Included. The show and dinner are free.
Drinks: Extra. Order from the bar as usual, or add a bottomless drinks option for about $30 per person.
Good to know: Portions are on the smaller side, but plenty of sailors treat it as their dinner for the night.
It's a Ship Show (Valiant Lady)
It's a Ship Show is a variety talk show with a host, a live band, comedy, and acts from performers who rotate on and off the ship every few weeks. Dinner is four courses, and the night runs about two hours.
Cost: Included. The show and dinner are free.
Drinks: Extra, from the bar.
Good to know: Because the acts rotate, no two sailings get quite the same show.
Another Rose (Resilient Lady)
Another Rose is dinner theater about love and desire, told through song, dance, and aerial performance. There's no narrator walking you through it. The performers move all around the room, so the show happens around your table, not just on a stage. The whole evening runs about two hours.
Cost: About $50 per person.
Included: A welcome cocktail, a multi-course dinner, sparkling rosé during the show, and themed cocktails along the way.
Good to know: It has mature themes, handled with style. It's sexy and playful rather than explicit, which fits Virgin's adults-only vibe.
Up With a Twist (Brilliant Lady)
Up With a Twist is set in a 1920s Parisian nightclub. Think old-school variety show: a cast of performers competes for the crowd's approval, and the audience helps decide who comes out on top.
Cost: About $50 per person.
Included: A multi-course dinner, a run of themed cocktails, and a guaranteed seat.
Good to know: It leans into crowd interaction, which makes it a great pick for groups.
Why Do Two of the Shows Cost Extra?
The paid shows include your drinks. Another Rose and Up With a Twist come with cocktails and, on Another Rose, sparkling rosé throughout the night. LOLz Supper Club and It's a Ship Show include dinner, but drinks are on you.
A few payment details for the paid shows:
Sailor Loot works. It's a great way to use it.
Your Bar Tab doesn't. The show goes on your onboard account or Sailor Loot.
Not drinking? Non-alcoholic options are available, but the price is usually the same.
For more on onboard credit, see How to Use Your Virgin Voyages Sailor Loot.
How to Book a Virgin Voyages Dinner Show
You can't book any of the dinner shows before your sailing. Booking opens once you're onboard, through the Virgin Voyages app.
Board the ship and connect to the ship's Wi-Fi.
Open the Virgin Voyages app and look for the show in your agenda options.
Pick your date (and seating area, if offered), and book right away.
Seats are limited on every show, free or paid, and they often fill up early in the sailing. Make it one of the first things you do after you board, before lunch. Then arrive a little early for a good seat.
Where to Sit
Closest to the action: Expect performers right at your table, and a chance you'll be pulled into the show.
Booths and mid-room seats: Close enough to feel part of it, with less chance of being singled out.
The balcony: A full view of the whole room, with almost no audience interaction.
If you're shy, sit farther back. If you love being part of the show, sit up front.
Dietary Needs
Each show serves a set menu, and vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-friendly options are available. Mention your needs when you book or tell your server when you arrive.
What to Wear
There's no dress code, but most sailors dress up a little for dinner show night. It's a fun excuse to wear the outfit you packed for a big night out.
Are Virgin Voyages Dinner Shows Worth It?
The free ones are an easy yes. Dinner and a show at no extra cost is one of the best deals onboard.
The paid ones are worth it for most sailors, too. Dinner, cocktails, and a show for around $50 is a strong value, and they're perfect for a birthday, an anniversary, or a group night out. Skip them if you don't like audience participation, or if you'd rather spend the night at another restaurant. Every restaurant on Virgin is already included. See the Virgin Voyages Restaurant Guide.
