The Black Friday Preview Sale is live now through November 19, 2026, and it's one of the strongest offers Virgin runs all year: 80% off your second Sailor, plus up to $600 in free drinks, on sailings all the way through October 2028. Here's what's in the deal, which cabins get what, and how to make the most of it before it ends.

How the 80% Off Works
Virgin advertises the deal as 80% off your second Sailor. Behind the scenes, each Sailor in the cabin gets 40% off their voyage fare, which adds up to the same savings for two people. If four Sailors share a cabin, all four get 40% off.
The discount applies to the voyage fare only. Taxes, fees, and gratuities are separate.
Free Drinks: Bar Tab by Cabin and Sailing Length
The Bar Tab is added to your booking and shared by everyone in the cabin.
14 nights or longer: $600 in RockStar Quarters, $250 in a Sea Terrace
10 to 13 nights: $400 in RockStar Quarters, $200 in a Sea Terrace
6 to 9 nights: $300 in RockStar Quarters, $200 in a Sea Terrace
4 to 5 nights: $150 in RockStar Quarters, $50 in a Sea Terrace
3 nights or shorter: The fare discount applies, but there's no Bar Tab

Virgin's 2028 Alaska season opens for booking on November 12, right in the middle of this sale. The Black Friday deal covers open sailings through October 28, 2028, so the new Alaska dates should qualify once they're released. I'll confirm the day they open. Tips to Get the Most Out of Black Friday
Don't wait until the 19th. The best cabins on popular sailings go first, and the deal doesn't help if your cabin is gone.
Look at longer sailings. The Bar Tab grows with trip length, so a 10-night or 14-night sailing gets you a lot more free drinks.
