One of the best things about Virgin Voyages is the food. There's no main dining room and no traditional buffet. Instead, you get 20+ restaurants and eateries, and every one of them is included in your fare. Here's a guide to every spot, what to order, and which ones to book first.
A spread at Pink Agave. Don't skip the esquites.
How Dining Works on Virgin Voyages
Every restaurant is included. No cover charges for "specialty" dining.
No set dining times. You choose where and when to eat each night.
Reservations are made in the Virgin Voyages app. Your booking window opens 15, 45, or 60 days before sailing, depending on your fare type. RockStars get priority.
A few items cost extra. Some venues have "Treat Yourself" upcharge items on the menu, but everything else is included.
The Main Restaurants
These are the sit-down restaurants, and they're the ones to reserve.
The Wake
Virgin's steakhouse and seafood restaurant, at the back of the ship with views of the wake. Think filet mignon, lamb chops, clam chowder, and a wedge salad. It's also one of the best brunch spots onboard. Book this first. It fills up fast.
Pink Agave
Upscale Mexican with shareable plates. Order the esquites (Mexican street corn) and the cochinita pibil. A lot of sailors rank this as their favorite.
Extra Virgin
An Italian trattoria with handmade pasta, fried calamari, and mini meatballs. Save room for the affogato.
Gunbae
Korean barbecue cooked at your table, with communal seating, so it's a fun, lively night out. Order the short rib and crispy chicken. It's great for groups and outgoing couples.
Razzle Dazzle
A fun, colorful brunch spot on every ship. At dinner, it becomes a different restaurant depending on your ship:
Scarlet Lady: Lucky Lotus, Chinese-inspired
Valiant Lady: Ariya, Indian
Brilliant Lady: Rojo, Spanish
Resilient Lady: Razzle Dazzle by Night
The Test Kitchen
An experimental tasting menu that rotates. It's the most adventurous meal onboard, so go if you like trying new things.
Dinner and a show: Every ship also has a supper club dinner show in The Manor. Some are included in your fare and some cost extra. See my Virgin Voyages dinner shows guide.
Casual Eateries (No Reservation Needed)
The Galley: Virgin's buffet replacement. It's a food hall with made-to-order stations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Pizza Place: personal pizzas, including a white truffle and egg pie
The Social Club: casual diner food like wings, hot dogs, and pretzels
The Dock House: Mediterranean small plates and grilled bites by the pool
Sun Club Café: poke bowls and bao buns
Lick Me Till Ice Cream: free homemade ice cream
Ship Eats: 24/7 room service. A small delivery fee applies, waived for RockStars.
Which Restaurants to Book First
When your reservation window opens, book in this order:
The Wake, especially for dinner
Your ship's Razzle Dazzle dinner restaurant
Pink Agave

Extra Virgin
The Test Kitchen
If something's full, check the app every day. Reservations open up often as other sailors change plans.
Tips for Eating Well Onboard
Book on day one of your window. Popular times go first.
Don't overbook. Leave a night or two open for The Galley or a spontaneous choice.
Try brunch. The Wake and Razzle Dazzle brunches are some of the best meals onboard.
Pick the right fare. Premium fares open dining reservations 60 days out, compared with 15 days for Base. See Lock It In vs. Base vs. Essential vs. Premium.
