What's Included in Your Virgin Voyages Fare (and What's Not)
One of the most common questions I get from clients booking Virgin Voyages is what's actually included in the fare. Here's the breakdown so there are no surprises once you're onboard.
Dining
All 20+ restaurants are included, no upcharge, no set dining times, and no buffet.
Basic Wifi
Included on every sailing so you can stay connected without paying extra.
Fitness Classes and Entertainment
Gym access, group fitness classes, and all shows and nightlife events are included in your fare.
Basic Beverages
Soda, water, coffee, tea, and juice are complimentary throughout your voyage.
What's Not Included:
Gratuities
Not built into the base fare, but you can prepay them at booking. If you wait and pay onboard instead, the price will increase.
Alcoholic Drinks
Not included. You'll want a bar tab or pay per drink if you plan to enjoy the bars onboard.
Spa and Thermal Suite
The thermal suite runs $59 on port days and $79 on sea days for a three-hour block. Massages, facials, and salon services cost extra too.
Specialty Dining Experiences
All restaurants are included in your fare, but a few venues have 'Treat Yourself' upcharge items on the menu. At The Wake, that includes the Grand Plateau seafood tower, raw bar selections, and the aged tomahawk steak. Cooking and mixology classes at some venues also carry an extra charge.
Premium Coffee
Specialty lattes and cold brew from The Grounds Club aren't part of the complimentary coffee.
Premium Wifi
Faster wifi plans (Classic, Premium, Work from Sea) cost extra if the basic connection isn't enough.
Shore Things (Excursions)
Booked and paid for separately, due at time of booking.
